Alpes’ archives revealed

In the upcoming months, I wish to start sharing with you some memories I found in the Alpes’ archive. Reviewing these documents revealed the many changes that occurred in a few years which seems ironic since we operate in a slow-food world. In keeping with the price list theme of this newsletter, I want to share Alpes’ price list from 1984. The price for a 500g jar of Italian Antipasto was 1,030 Italian Lire (0,53 Euros) and the 200g jar was 395 Italian Lire (0,20 Euros)! It’s also interesting to note that only 3 out of 7 jars of the product line were discontinued. While we’ve kept up with the times and added more variety to accompany our standards, one thing has not changed and that’s our passion for quality Italian food.
Italy covered almost 100%

I’m proud to inform you that Alpes increased our Italian sales force to cover 76% of the country regions. We are now better equipped to serve our Italian customers with more efficiency and one on one attention. And what if you’re a client outside of Italy? Well, this news means any time you visit Italy, an Alpes’ representative is nearby and will meet you at your hotel, saving you time and excess expenditures.
